Welcome Penny! The models seem to be a common fallback for people who cant ride or have real horses of their own, it's awesome to hear stories like that I think

Hi! I'm Emma, of Home Stretch Studios. I mainly am interested in the showing part of the hobby. I also enjoy the photography aspect, but do to a hard drive crash I've lost all my photos. Most of the models I have are breyer, but as soon as the Copperfox horses come out I defiantly want one of those.
I do make tack, but I specialize in rope halters. I also customize in pigments.
Hmmm... My favorite models are my Partly Cloudy, Killarney, glossy varnish roan Pop The Cork, and Bats in The Belfry. Bats are my favorite animal, so of course I had to get him!
I also ride hunter in real life. I don't own a horse, but enjoy exercising the beginner ponies at my barn. They started to be naughty because they were bored, but they sure love jumping!
This forum sounds awesome! I'm so excited to be joining!
You can see more of my work at my Facebook page here: www.facebook.com/Hot2TrotStudios It's still under construction, but I hope you enjoy it!
I'm Rachel Fail, of RF Tack www.facebook.com/RFTack and I'm a tack maker, collector, and live shower (when I can!). I'm in South Florida these days, but always on the move with my Coast Guard husband! I have two beautiful daughters ages 2 & 4 months, and the best dog in the world, Sadie. I don't have horses at the moment, but as soon as the girls are old enough to go to the barn with me, I'm back in the saddle, so to speak. I ride/give lessons once a week, but other than that I'm getting my horsey-time through the model world.
Hi, I'm Caz and I'm from the UK. It was last year that I realised there is a whole community of collectors and it's fascinating to see what everyone gets up to and how wonderful their made items are. My collection includes Breyer, Schleich and My Beautiful Horses. I'm interested in making tack, especially English. I've only made a couple of bridles so far but I really enjoy it. Although I am interested in photo showing, I need a few more props first.
I've been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome so while I do have two real life ponies, I get tired easily and this gives me something to do indoors. My ponies get ridden as and when I have energy and are happy out in their field.
Heya! I'm Anna Kirby of Dreamflite Design. I found the link to this forum on Nichelle/Desktop Stables' blog and thought I'd take a look! I can't promise that I'll be super active, but it's always nice to have somewhere to browse around.

Hi Caz and yay nice to see you here Anna! Caz you sound like many of us here with your tack making and collecting when outside with the real ponies isn't possible
Well, I'm Dressagekid. I ride real horses in dressage and often try to recreat things from my barn in miniature. I like to manage my own breyer stable because one day I hope to do so in real life. I make tack, the quality is interesting to say the least, I customize, mostly painting but soon I'll sculpt some manes and tails, and I love photography. I also realized that I'm the youngest person in this forum so if I mess things up or something please be forgiving. That's it for now, thanks for reading.

Welcome Dressagekid! Recreating things from our real horsey lives is so of the most fun I have had and I think you always end up with a much more realistic and satisfying creation that way Being the youngest isn't always bad you will bring a different perspective to the forum which is always good!
