Hi, I'm Steffi from Germany. :-) I'm collecting model horses for around 20 years and I especially love to make tack. Mostly english, but I am also interested in treeless saddles, bitless bridles, tack for trail riding etc. My next adventure will be western tack. :-)
I only collect traditional horses and have a soft spot for ponies, draft breeds and warmbloods. My collection contains OFs as well es some custs. My dolls have their own home and I like to sew clothes for them.
Here are a few impressions:

Found your site through someone on Instagram and was recently navigating it, had to keep translating it but I must say your tack is stunning! Loved all of it
And I guess I should introduce myself to everyone, i'm Michaela Fearn from New Zealand, I customise and attempted tack but I'll leave that to everyone else and quit wasting my time haha. My collection is made up of all sorts, mostly Breyer and Stone trads and SM, a few mini resins and a couple trad resins aswell.
I have a few real horses, one TB (Irish) and two mini's (Magic and Dusky), mum has about 6 minis aswell haha. We show the miniatures inhand and a couple are broken to harness so we show them in harness also. I have only just got my TB a couple of months ago to get back into riding after a couple years off when I had to sell my pony in 2011 due to losing grazing, unfortunately im panicking now I will have to do the same with this boy But noone cares about that! Cant wait to see everyones collection and get to know some more people in the hobby!!
Hi Michaela, thank you very much! I am sorry that you had to translate it all. I am thinking about making the site bilingual in the future... Your real horses are very beautiful! I hope you can keep your TB.

Hello everyone *waves* you probably already know me
I run Chestnut Ridge, a UK based model horse hobby business, we sell loads of hobby supplies so take a look if you are needing things
I also collect/hoard model horses, my collection stands at around 1000 models (gasps a little) of all makes, breeds and types. Basically if it is pretty (and expensive) I get it!
I also customise and make tack. My tack is OK, in fact it isn't great. But my performance set ups (including my own tack) have taken several Top 10's at BMECS and BMECS/NAN qualified on multiple occasions.
My customs are my main passion, especially when they come with rainbow colours and unicorn horns....
You can view tack/customs and random other stuff here:
In terms of showing I live show, photo show and postal show!
If you are interested here are links to my live, photo and postal shows that I currently run/am running/will run/generally run around like a headless person not really knowing what's going on:
Welcome Chestnut Ridge! I didn't know you yet (lol) but I'm interested in seeing that you sell hobby supplies, I'll definitely take a good look at your site!

Hello! I'm from Poland. My adventure with models was started in 2007, but I had break in 2009. In 2011 I returned known as Metalfish. Since then collecting turned into customizing and repainting models. I love horses since I remember but I had only occasional contact with them. Besides horses I'm keen on motorcycles, history and metal music. Here is my website www.metalfishart.weebly.com

Hi Metalfish! Metal music is cool! (I used to listen to it a lot when I was younger) I may not be into motocycles exactly but I Love japanese cars so we have a few things in common!
It's a good thing though, keeps you fit, lol! Char, there are collectors everywhere. I'm Bulgarian, for example. Sadly I am the only one that I know of who collects model horses in Bulgaria. There are probably others, but I haven't had the chance to meet any yet *sad face* P.S. Is there a way to add multiple quotes in one post? I saw the "quote" button when creating a post, but it's not working as I would like it to... :\
Char, there is a few collectors. In Poland are more popular Schleich, then Breyers but we started to introduce Artist Resins, also in this year want to meet each other first time.
Galaxy Sparrow, my motorcycle Honda is japanese. Japanese things are good
Thank you all for nice words. I'm really proud that you appreciate it

My name is Sara and I'm a tackmaker and model collector. I first started off with Grand Champions then started collecting Breyers and Peter Stones. In the last four years or so I've fallen hard for Artist Resins. I've been making tack since 2008 and specialize mostly in Western sets. I haven't figured out how to make a really nice English set yet! And trust me, I've tried....I make my own props and often donate them to shows. My Fiance, Jake, makes jumps and tack boxes (he is just so awesome that he also collects too!). I've only been live showing for about three years now but what a ride it has been! I attended my first NAN/Breyerfest in 2014 and managed to come home with cookies! Pictured below is my favorite model in my collection, a Stone Pony by Karen Gerhardt. I had stumbled across him on ebay when I saw that he was my favorite color and bid on him but lost in the final I put out a want ad and Karen said she would offer up her Artist Proof of him! I was so excited! So he is signed by her and went to win National Reserve Champ at NAN

I love you work Sara and that pony is super cute! We can help here with english tack making that's for sure lucky we are getting a few western people to balance it out now The English pony is such an adorable mold after getting mine I have fallen hard and can't wait to get another and they are mostly tack friendly!
