I really like your "attempts" Lisa! Especially the blue saddle, I always like to see colour in tack ^^ And the brown saddle, am I right that the seat and side jockeys are out of one piece? Cool!

Hello! I'm Rebecca from Ontario. I have a small collection that includes mostly traditional scale models including OF Breyers, Peter Stones, and resins. I recently came back from a four-year hiatus from the hobby. I've never entered a live or photo show before but I am interested in learning more about showing performance and dropping in at Toronto Live this year to see how it's done. I am practicing making tack and hope someday to make LSQ pieces, both english and western. I'm always interested in learning new skills in tackmaking and discussing methods!
Did you draw that dog yourself?
Yes I did! Acrylic on board, it's an entry for the local fair that I did a few years back and ended up selling to a lady who lives in Alaska--so it has a fun story too
Hi, I'm Danielle and my studio and stable name is Daley Park. I'm from Victoria, Australia, and have been in the hobby for about ten years now. For the past five years, I have been the Editor/membership coordinator behind AIMHC, the Australasian International Model Horse Club. I collect strictly classic scale models, but have a few traditional bodies around. My interest in the hobby is promotion and membership; tackmaking (strapgoods and accessories only; no saddles), and showing, mostly photo showing. Performance is my favourite. Outside of the hobby, I am a nurse, and have a strong interest in desktop publishing and writing. I make tack because it's fun, and sell the occasional piece. It's not very good so I don't usually get commissions, but I donate pieces to live shows in Australia because they need the support. www.facebook.com/daleyparktack is my website On forums like this I usually lurk so don't expect me to show up too often.
Hi everyone! I am Jeannie from Germany and I am active in the model horse hobby since 2009. I am versatile but no expert in any craft. Doing some repaints, a little customizing, making some tack, doing props and Dios and LOVE taking pictures from the entire stuff.. Would love to learn more and share some tips and advise! And having a great time, after all it's a hobby! I own mostly Breyers, some Schleichs and Collecta and two Peter Stones, no resins.
Hi, I'm Steffi from Germany. :-) I'm collecting model horses for around 20 years and I especially love to make tack. Mostly english, but I am also interested in treeless saddles, bitless bridles, tack for trail riding etc. My next adventure will be western tack. :-)
I only collect traditional horses and have a soft spot for ponies, draft breeds and warmbloods. My collection contains OFs as well es some custs. My dolls have their own home and I like to sew clothes for them.

Steffi, your work is so nice and colourfull! I've seen some of it come by on facebook, and it always really attracts my attention, haha. I like your tackroom too! I'd like to think I could use something like it, but I know I wouldn't put anything in it cause I love seeing my horses all tacked up ^^

Thank you all so much! Jeannie, your SM tack is absolutely amazing. I cannot imagine to work in that scale. Idocus' bridle with the laced reins is beautiful, too!

The trad and sm bridles look so cute and awesome together really highlights the size difference! I really like your browbands too especially on the grey collecta can't go past a nice grey!
I really like your "attempts" Lisa! Especially the blue saddle, I always like to see colour in tack ^^ And the brown saddle, am I right that the seat and side jockeys are out of one piece? Cool!
Thanks!
Yes the cutting saddle is all one piece - was harder to do and required soaking and shaping but makes for a great working saddle.
