Yes!!!! I had wanted to do this for 13 years (but high school and college and first jobs happened), and last year in March I decided I would do Breyerfest, so I had to get it done in four months. I just made up the pattern as I went along. I kept calling Rio rondo to order more rings!! Each ring has four rings in it, I believe... It was very tedious, but the end result was really cool. I cant get enough of history...think that the medieval period is one of the most fascinating in terms of horse armor!! It won fourth in historical costume at BFest...may try to take it out again in a future show
Its great to see your work here as well Heather! I simply love your western bridles! MAYBE one day I will own one! And OMG the chain armour! Mind = blown! Incredible work!
This is my latest. Hand braided, hand made knots on a Carol Williams Bit from the Days when she made the bits by hand out of real silver.
I love the colours you've used they are really beautiful! I don't know how you braid such tiny bridles one day I hope to learn how as it's just such an amazing and perfect skill. Exactly the same as the real thing only tiny >.<

Finished these two items off yesterday for an order along with a saddle sadly i forgot to triple check everything and the hardware is the wrong colour so I have swapped it on the saddle and will remake the two items and sell these but they are still finished! lol and being worked on at the same time? >.> weird day for me today! Sorry for fuzzy and huge pics o.O
