Thanks both of you - Emily and Char! It really means a lot coming from you! And I was thinking about the second keeper, will definitely add them too! It's not a huge deal anyway
Very nice, I like the colour! You might want to add an extra strap keeper right behind the buckle on each strap though, that's the way they usually do it with real bridles.
I could do it but my waiting list is soooooo long... So if you want me to do it, you'll have to be patient, lol.
Kay looks so good in those clothes! I'm sorry to hear about her foot though, she must have been in a lot of pain.
Goldencreek, I can't say if it's the same as the Block Out Resist, but I don't think so since I don't have any trouble with applying a thin layer on my tack and it dries really quick.
I wanna finish my harness but I can only work on it tonight, raah!! My hands are itching to work on it, cause it's almost done!
Haha well the horse doesnt even have clothes yet or even sure if thats the one I will use for her portrait, could be anywhere from months to years before shes done the way my life is going at the moment haha

I'm always doing beadwork. Right now I'm working on 2 men's ceremonial Indian costumes as I wait for my leather to get here so I can start putting them together. Here is the finished beadwork for one of the costumes.

lyndagillette, your work is incredible! i love seeing projects with that level of detail. i did a full chain mail armor suit for a traditional horse with 3 mm jump rings...it took me probably 4 months to do...i can appreciate your work in such a tedious scale!!!!

Thank you all! It is a lot of work but fun. The beadwork, even tho it takes the longest amount of time is my favorite part of making the costume. It takes about 200 hours to make a costume with 90% of that being the loom beadwork.

Thank you! I don't think I could do what you do. I love chain mail & I'm blown away by it, all that work (wow). Please post pix! I too appreciate & love the tiny details in all forms of artwork in this hobby. So many talented artists.

Here are some photos of my piece... Based on 11th-13th century (chain) mail bards... They weren't used for a long time due to the weight and improvements in armor design. It took about 12,000 jump rings to make.... My eyes have never twitched so much lol
