Hello fellow forum goers!
We are still here and alive
Just very busy!
Just very busy!
I hope everyone is well this year and a massive apology for the radio silence!
Please know the forum will continue and hopefully grow from its humble but a tad stalled beginning.
Having been very busy as I'm sure everyone is these days I have been unable to post or update the forum for a number of months. We moved house twice in that time so regular time in front of the PC just hasn't come about very often.
Currently I have a study and desktop pc which will allow for more regular updates and posts to the forum. I'm hoping after some more cleaning I'll be able to get all my ponies and tack making studio area up and running as well! (competition winners you have not been forgotten! you'll just get a much nicer items now )
With a full time job and the usual life challenges I'm sure we all understand the struggles to get hobby plans into action so please accept my most sincere apologies for the lapse in support of the forum.
I still feel that the use of a forum for collecting and curating information for the model horse tack making and performance sector is vital for furthering the hobby and hope my recent move will allow me more time to further this goal.
If you're still with me here I would love to get up a little survey up and will be setting up a post looking for assistance with the forum with some big and small role outlines for those who are also a little short on time but would like to help out even a little
I know forums are getting a little long in the tooth but honestly in my opinion they are such a vital resource for storing and later revising information and discussion between hobbyists that can never truly be replaced by temporary mediums such as facebook groups and instagram. I feel we do our hobby a disservice to let what we share get washed away with time and not share with as many future artists as possible
We all know re-posting information in multiple places and using forums on PC rather then simply posting via our phones on facebook is a bit more work and time that we don't always have but perhaps if we look at it as an investment into the hobbies future and the people in it we can see the value of our knowledge being kept in a slightly more permanent and searchable forum
