I try to buy most Stone horses second-hand, which usually makes them less expensive. An exception was a Stone DAH, but I bought it for a steal at $100 from the factory. As an American, I often get tired of seeing so many products made in China when my country has the space, manpower, technology, etc to manufacture its own products; this is why I like Stone. I do find a lot of products from Breyer that are pretty and have bought them in the past; I do see a lot of quality control failures lately that make me very frustrated with their desire to mass-produce their horses. Copperfox has lovely molds; I'm sure that I'll buy a couple second-hand. I still prefer the Items that are manufactured in house and/or made by resin artists, simply because I am so tired of seeing everything made outside of my country. One would think that a country as great as America could make its own products; but in being capitalist , outsourcing, etc is how we make our money it is what it is
The copperfox OF models for the funders are delayed because the paintjobs weren't up to the quality that Becky wants them to have. All of them will be repainted. I like it that Becky won't let them get away with a half done job. This may indeed mean high quality OF paintjobs?!
Also things went well with the promotion-event they went to, sounds like they might still get the funding they need to get the whole Copperfox business off the ground!

I love the Newsworthy! Still like to see him as a bay tobiano though.
I'm a little disappointed that the CF models are delayed, but also glad that Becky's having them done right first. What a mess it would have been otherwise...
